Le petit cimetière de Gentioux abrite des tombes sculptées en particulier celle de Jean Cacaud et sa famille.
Jean Cacaud était un tailleur de pierre et dit-on ermire vivant dans une carrière. Il a sculpté de remarquable tombes de granit
du cimetière avec des animaux, une femme à l'enfant et d'autres oeuvres.
The small cemetery of Gentioux houses carved tombs, particularly that of Jean Cacaud and his family.
Jean Cacaud was a stonemason and it is said ermire living in a quarry. He carved remarkable granite graves from the cemetery
with animals, a woman with the child and other works.

Ci-dessus le tombeau de la famille Cacaud. Celui de Cacaud est composé d'un homme et d'un enfant ; deux tailleurs de pierre et un 3e
personnage ; au dessus une femme tenant un enfant, assise sur un siège porté par un chien et un bélier et accompagnée d'une chouette.
Celui de son épouse Julienne Baud est composé d'animaux, de symboles chrétiens, d'une personne agenouillée,
d'un buste tenu par deux chiens couchés.
Ci-dessous, le tombeau du charpentier Étienne Canque et de son épouse Marie de Tienne composé d'outillage de charpentier.
D'autres tombes sont sculptés dans cet original petit cimetière qui vaut le détour.
Above is the tomb of the Cacaud family. Cacaud's is made up of a man and a child; two stonemasons and a 3rd
character; above a woman holding a child, sitting on a seat carried by a dog and a ram and accompanied by an owl.
That of his wife Julienne Baud is made up of animals, Christian symbols, a kneeling person,
a bust held by two lying dogs.
Below, the tomb of the carpenter Étienne Canque and his wife Marie de Tienne composed of carpent

"Maudite soit la Guerre" avec cette inscription pacifiste sur le monument aux morts de Gentioux, le monument
n'a plus l'habilité de faire partie des monuments aux morts officiels.
En 1922, la commune prépare son
projet de monument aux morts et Jean-Marie Duburgt propose un projet avec un orphelin plutôt qu'un soldat et
son "cri du coeur".
'Damn the War' with this pacifist inscription on the war memorial of Gentioux,
the monument no longer has the authority to be part of the official war memorials.
In 1922, the commune
prepared its war memorial project and Jean-Marie Duburgt proposed a project with an orphan rather than a soldier
and his 'cry from the heart'.
